Socies expert Lilit Babayan’s article has been published in the “Bulletin of Yerevan University. Sociology” scientific journal.
“The Pubs of Yerevan as Spaces of Post-Soviet Transformation” presents the results of the study conducted in Yerevan on the pubs formed during the post-Soviet period, attempting to reveal the codes of post-Soviet transformation.
The results of the study indicate how the founders of pubs planned and constructed the pub spaces, as well as point out such ideological transformations as the transitions from socialism to capitalism and from conservativism to liberalism.
